Reopening of Umrah registration after Hajj from July 19

The Saudi Ministry has announced the reopening of Umrah registration after Hajj from July 19. All locals and foreigners can apply for Umrah Permit on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. The Saudi government closed the kingdom’s doors to Umrah pilgrims on June 23 (Dhu al-Hijjah 24).

What’s mean of Umrah registration?

Umrah registration means entering the country and getting permission from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to perform Umrah. It would be best if you found out from the travel agency agent here what we need to complete our registration.

You need it here!

  1. Umrah Visa/Tourist Visa
  2. Umrah Plan
  3. Tawakalna App

Umrah Visa/Tourist Visa:

There are two separate options for Umrah due to Umrah visa and tourist visa validation. The validity limit for an Umrah visa is approximately 30 days than a tourist visa. In the old days, Muslims had only one option for Umrah visas when they went to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.

But today the options have completely changed, Muslims can perform their less pilgrimage with a one-year option on a tourist visa. The procedure for applying for both visas is the same.

Umrah Plan:

Umrah plan here means Umrah packages. Because the choice of the desired package will decide your entire Umrah journey. Today, the agency has the authority to provide you with direct flights or indirect flights, 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star hotels, transportation, and Umrah guides.

You can get these packages from any selected travel agency; on a monthly or events basis.

For example:

Month Wise Packages:

January Umrah Package, February Umrah Package, March Umrah Package, April Umrah Package, May Umrah Package, August Umrah Package, September Umrah Package, October Umrah Package, November Umrah Package, and December Umrah Package.

Events Wise Packages:

Ramadan Umrah Packages, Easter Umrah Packages, etc.

Tawakalna App:

The Saudi government and the private sector have introduced various mobile apps to protect the Saudi population from COVID-19. Although many apps have been discontinued, some are still available, including the Tawaklana app. It was introduced by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, especially for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

It shows the population figures in the Masjid al-Haram. Therefore, coloured bars make it easier for everyone to guess when the rush of pilgrims is less and when it is more.

Now every Muslim has to install this app before landing at the airport in Saudi Arabia. All you need to do here is fill in some options related to your visa and passport information. But Muslims do not have to fill in the options of the Tawakalna app to pray in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi.

The reason behind the closing of Umrah for 26 days:

The only reason for stopping Umrah for 26 days is to keep 1 million Muslims from all over the world safe. The ministry had announced a ban on Umrah from June 23 to July 20. Indeed, Muslims do not need to worry about social restrictions more than they did in the past. The Saudi Ministry has announced the reopening of Umrah registration after Hajj from July 19.

Note: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah strictly banned the distribution of holy water from ZamZam Well in bottles.
